We are currently experiencing a volunteer shortage so we could truly use your help. All volunteers must be 18 years of age or older. We are currently putting together a group of volunteers to help pack food boxes in the evenings for 2 hours Monday through Friday.
If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, please email: execdirector@commreach.org Please include your name, your availability, and what you would be interested in helping us with.
Here are some of the duties needed from our volunteers.
*escort clients through the choice pantry
*light office duties for client intake
*pick up donations & orders at local grocers
*organize a food drive or blanket collection and deliver it to the pantry
*occasional child-care during nutrition classes or other on-site activities
*help to plan and implement fund raising activities - large or small
*spring or fall 'house cleaning'
*weekly or bi-weekly general cleaning
*bring a work team for simple maintenance and up-keep of facility
*provide weekly/monthly updates to your organization or church for agency needs
*continue to encourage others to donate
