44 YEARS AND COUNTING...
Established in 1974 & incorporated in 1975, we are a 501 (c)3, not-for-profit agency providing basic items of support for 350-400 families who reside in the Dallastown, Eastern York, and Red Lion School Districts. There at least 125 seniors and more than 300 children in the households which are served by our pantry and other programs. Many clients are veterans and an increasing number of clients deal with temporary or insecure living arrangements and several are homeless. Food insecurity is a real concern for nearly 12% of the population. Thank you for your support which allows the agency to assist your neighbors, friends, and family. We cannot do it without you!

Funding
Community REACH, Inc. relies entirely on volunteers, in-kind donations, monetary gifts, food pantry donations, fundraising events, grants and endowments. We are a distribution partner with Central Pennsylvania Food Bank and with York County Food Bank which allows our agency to receive inventory from the state food allotment and the TEFAP products each month, as well as various other programming support and information. Contact the office or stop in during weekday office hours for a tour of the facility or for more information.
Financial donations are now accepted online by simply finding the donate button here on the website and following the prompts. Thank you in advance! Receipts are available if needed for your tax purposes.
LOCATION
The agency is located at 15 First Avenue in the borough of Red Lion and is housed in the old firehouse which was built in 1904/05. The building has seen various occupants and uses during its 114 years of history but it has stood the test of time. On November 14, 2015, the building was re-dedicated in honor of Miss Ruthann Young, the lead donor during the first-ever Capital Campaign [2011-2016]. Although the successful capital campaign has been closed, we continue to accept, and always appreciate, any donation toward the capital improvements funds. These funds support the upkeep, maintenance and repairs of our historically important building; upgrades to the building are needed to insure the best use of the space for our services for many more years. We sincerely ask you to assist Community REACH, Inc. with a special monetary gift. We are able to continue these important ministries only through your generous donations.
